The $16 Ove-Glove is supposed to make safety easier.
As the oven climbs to about 400 degrees Kishore grabs the tray that's been heating up.
Now with one hand in a regular oven mitt and the other in the Ove-Glove he waits to see how long it will take to get too hot to handle.
The hand in the Ove Glove gets too hot first.
The Ove Glove handles the heat for a short time but it changes the way you hold things so more of the heat goes to your sensitive fingertips.
Even though the way you hold things with the Ove-Glove seems more natural a $3 oven mitt actually gives you a better grip.
