Under the glove: sweat control with Glove-Mate PDF Print E-mail

I was starting to develop cracked, red lines all over
my hands because of sweaty palms. I'm in the Tattoo
business and I have to wear latex gloves about 8 hours
a day. I thought I was having an allergic reaction to
the the latex gloves I was using so I switched brands
a few times. This made no difference I was still
sweating from inside the glove.

I actually tried stuffing cotton balls down into the
palm area of the glove to absorb some of the sweat.
This worked but the bulges from the cotton balls
really Freaked out some of my customers, they thought
I had some type of freaky hand disease.

My Boss told me "You have to stop stuffing that shit
down your gloves or I'm going to fire you..."

This was not good, Ink is my life!

I searched on Google all that night to find something
I could use that wouldn't look all crazy and still
keep the sweat away. Finally I found it!

It looks like a sock with holes cut in it for your
fingers to stick out of, but it ain't no sock. This
thing is called the GLOVE-MATE. It's this thin
stretchable cotton that you put over your hand before
you put the latex glove on. The glove does not have
fingers and that helps me not loose any dexterity with
my hands. The Glove-Mate is designed to absorb sweat
from your hands, mainly the palm area. I love it, they
come 100 to the box and one size fits all and the cost
was only $20.00.

I included this picture for anybody looking for it.
This thing has helped my hands get back to normal and
I'm doing my best Ink work ever.
